nothing but good stuff. really.
We would like to clarify today that this review will give you a general idea about how to proceed with her plan, but please consider purchasing Ani’s book, whether in print or in ebook form. It is a great reference to have on hand, but mostly because there’s about 50 times more information in the book than we will detail. By the way, we plan to begin the 15 days this week. And report.. wish us luck!
Ani cites a large body of research which highlights the benefits of eating a plant-based diet.
aaaaaand.. we’re back to the gasoline analogy. Yes, I want a clean, well-oiled machine.
Most of us don’t realize how overworked our livers really are. Ani’s Fat Blast plan will emphasize the foods that help the liver function optimally. These include high fiber, organic fruits and veggies, sulfur-rich foods, cruciferous veggies, and certain spices.
By the same token we’ll avoid the foods and beverages which encumber the workings of this heroic organ. These include alcohol, deep fried and high fat foods, and smoked, cured, and over salty foods.
The good part is that by the time the 15 days are up, you probably won’t want these any more.
So that’s it for tonight. Tomorrow we’ll skim through chapter 3, and then get ready to get going.
